The family domain is perched on the slopes of the Vosges hills, 4 km away from the historical town of Colmar. François Barmès took over from his father, in 1985. 10 years later, he converted the entire domain to biodynamic viticulture. His choice have been rewarded with international recognition: today the domain exports 50% of the 100 000 bottles produced each year.
